Welcome to my website
about my trip to Israel. My name is Baron
Lorcan Dracontius, and I am
a member of the Society for Creative Anachronism which does historical
reenactment for the Middle Ages and Renaissance periods.
During the third crusade my medieval persona, or character, would have been in many of the
places that I visited on this trip.
I was fortunate in
that a member of my medieval family, Aaron, also lives in
Israel
and for reasons of his own wanted to tour and see the sites.
We drove a total of 1,005 kilometers (624 miles) in seven days.
Each of the links to the
left takes you to either a page on this
site with pictures or a journal entry about what happened.
Journal entries for specific days will be linked from the picture pages. The journal entries will open
the entry in LiveJournal.com for that day as if it was part of this site.
